About Us

We have Started Our Journey to serve you from 1952

Park View with Salim Hassan carries forward a legacy of authentic Malabar cuisine that began in 1952. Founded on a rich heritage that started with Hotel Colombo, the brand grew across Kerala’s major cities before the launch of Park View Restaurant in Thalassery in 1988. Rooted in tradition and culture, Park View is celebrated for its ethnic flavours, culinary authenticity, and deep connection to the heart of Malabar.

From 1996, the brand expanded with Hotel Kings Park and the launch of Salim Hassan’s Food Wagon Kings Park, taking Malabar cuisine beyond Kerala into Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. In 2012, Hotel Colombo was honoured as one of the city’s oldest restaurants, a prestigious recognition that reaffirmed our rich culinary heritage.

The entry of the third generation from 2014 onwards brought renewed vision and innovation. With professionally trained leadership, the brand continued to grow while staying rooted in tradition.

Recent years have marked a new era of expansion—internationally with Salim Hassan’s Kingspark in Oman (2024), innovative concepts like the buffet-only Kingspark MG Road in Kochi, and new establishments including Salim Hassan’s Park View in Kathrikadav. The revival of Hotel Colombo in Kochi further strengthened our connection to our origins.

Today, our legacy continues to cross borders as we expand into New Zealand, proudly sharing the authentic taste of Malabar with the world.
